Air Conditioning Maintenance Largo, Tampa, Clearwater & St Pete

All manufacturers recommend having your equipment serviced annually.

The best way to extend the life and maintain equipment efficiency is to perform regular air conditioning maintenance including tune-ups on your heating and cooling system. All manufacturers recommend having your equipment serviced annually. For best performance, it is suggested air conditioning maintenance be conducted twice per year, once in the spring before the demands of the peak cooling season and once in the fall before the heating season. Many manufacturers require, as a condition of the limited warranty, having the covered equipment serviced at least once per year by a licensed HVAC contractor.

Additionally, both Progress Energy and TECO electric companies state that by having your system cleaned, checked and maintained, the average household could save as much as $250.00 per year in operating costs.

At Bay Area, we offer Preventative Air Conditioning Maintenance Agreements in Largo, Tampa, Clearwater, St Pete, and surrounding areas to ensure your central ac system will operate at optimal efficiency throughout the year. Our Preventative Maintenance Agreements include two tune-ups per year and discounts on any needed repairs.

Preventative Maintenance Agreements (PMAs) are available to all homeowners regardless of the equipment manufacturer, age of equipment, or who originally installed the system. PMA customers benefit by receiving priority scheduling, waived service call and diagnostic charges during regular business hours, and discounts from 15% to 20% on replacement parts and equipment.

During your scheduled central ac maintenance tune-ups our NATE certified technicians will clean both the indoor evaporator coil and the outdoor condenser coil, clean the drain pan and clear the drain lines. They will tighten all electrical connections and measure and document amperage draws and voltage readings, lubricate any moving parts, check and adjust the refrigerant charge and replace all provided filters.

The technician will alert the homeowner to potential developing problems with the system and provide a solution before a system failure.

All new installations include a complimentary Preventative Maintenance Agreement for the first year. Homeowners may renew this coverage on a yearly basis at a discounted rate.
